Aaah. One of the greats. And a cover, no less. As many C64 people know by now, Rob was so inspired by the album "Audion" by "Synergy" (Larry Fast), that he did C64 covers, in the process creating two of his best tunes, Master of Magic and Zoids. Master of Magic is a mysterious piece, with a quite astonishing use of voices. Somehow it manages to be rhythmic and at the same time formless and infinite. And that in three voices... The game? Well, what game could live up to this? Run! The tune attacked you with its melody!
Chris Abbott

Even though this is a cover of a Synergy tune, from their album 'Audion', I've yet to hear it. However, as usual this is Rob Hubbard genius. The game itself attempted to be a mystical medieval game, and much like the feel that Hubbard gave Spellbound, this has a similar quality. The clangs could easily be a sword hitting a shield, with a virtual C64 flute playing through the whole thing. The slower pace than normal seems to fit in with the way the game was, almost moving your game hero in time to it and therefore is suitably atmospheric simultaneously.
Warren Pilkington

Run! The game attacked you with its textishness!
