Typical licence: i.e. written for money, not gameplay. But it was worth the price of entry for Galway's work. The cover of Jan Hammer was decent enough, but for the loader Galway managed to turn in a simple, yet extremely psyched tune based around a cascade of notes on each voice each delayed by one and a half eighth notes (quavers). Extremely simple to program, but in the hands of a master who knew when to ring the chord changes, and when to change the sound quality for a new beginning, this became a C64 masterpiece.
Martin's filter usage is legendary in this piece, as well as his use of
combined waveforms.
