In my view, Galway's finest work. Why? Simply because it is surreal and
ethereal at the same time. Galway himself said he just wanted it to be this huge mega epic
tune. Somehow, watching the epilepsy inducing title screen zooming the rasters and
attention into the centre of the screen and listening to this in the background seemed
just perfect for the different concept in this game with its epic parallax effects (hence
the name). The whole tune seems to be one long introduction until there is a melodic theme
near the end (around 7-8 minutes in) which changes the tune structure nicely - although
Galway thinks it's a bit silly as he reckons he got bored with it!

The key to realising this piece on CD was to realise that Martin was,
essentially, Jarre on a Sid. My treatment was consciously inspired by Equinoxe 4 in feel.
I just have to say that the melodic theme that Warren mentioned is one of my favourite
ever clips of SID music. It's inspiring, tuneful, epic, rhythmic and other-ic. Martin
himself claims it's an unconscious ripoff of "Rendez-Vous".
