A special place for me this game has, as it's my favourite computer game
EVER. Another surreal original concept by the authors of Parallax needed more than just
the usual run of the mill music. Of course, Galway delivered and how! The title tune
featured here has two main distinct parts, the introductory bit with the driving
background instruments and superb filtered sweeping main voice; then giving way to an
awesomely epic yet simple melody with multiples of main voices interspersing to truly give
that 'epic' feel. The remainder of the game music was also superb: the rock guitar solo
for the end of the game and the superb high score tune, which is beautiful.

Definitely a contender for best game of all time, in my book. Amazing game design, inspired graphics and music. Aaah, those were the days. Unsurpassed since. The other platform versions were flaccid by comparison.
The 30-second CD clip will show you how well this piece has made the
transition to CD: it's quite special, and definitely Vangelis-inspired. Due to space
reasons, the High Score tune could not be put on the CD, so, lucky you, you get it here in
MPEG3 form. The Wizball tune 5 MIDI file is here too, but to be honest, I did little work
on it. Just used Sid2MIDI and cleaned up the file. I didn't even make it adhere to the
barlines....! Buy the CD: it's good karma, and you'll be feeding the C64 musicians
appearing on it.
