Once upon a time a passenger ship "Bell" sailed to cross the Atlantic Ocean. Most of the passengers came from U.S.A. - and beetwen them were two FBI agents on holiday.

At the first time nobody had known their namess (but captain, of course), but at the fourth day of the trip they had to help a captain, and they became very famous.

When they sat in the restaurant, captain came to them and told very shortly:

"Help me"

"What happened?" - asked first agent, Fox Mulder

"One of the passengers lost his fish. It was a Gold Fish and he cried…" - captain smiled.

"OK. We'll help you if you show us his cabin" - second agent - Dana Scully got up and took her handbag.

"Thank you" - said captain and heaved a sigh of relief.

Owner of the Gold Fish was a very big man. He had swelling on his face; "it's true that he has cried" - thought Mulder.

"I'm waiting for you just ten minutes!!! - He shouted at them.

"They are going to help you, so stop shouting!!! - Ordered captain.

Agents Scully and Mulder set up an inquiry - in result they heard that the fish was exploited by her owner - she had to fulfil his desires every day.

"Mulder, I think that she left him" - said Scully.

"Yes, it's a good idea".

"Don't you think she has been kidnapped?"

"Who could do it? There are one hundred people, most of them are very, very rich, they should spend my and your salary for nothing in one day… No, I don't think so…"

Scully smiled viciously - "I don't mean our passengers… but your favourite grey people…"

"Scully!" - Mulder made a wry face. "We should find a fish and you are joking! And now that damned fish could be in the sea between her friends-fish, could be taken to the kitchen, or maybe servised on the our lunch plates!"

"If she was on our plates, we wouldn`t have anything to do" - Scully smiled again, but this time improdingly.

"OK. So, could you go to kitchen and ask our cook about our fish, please? And I`m going to the stern…"

The agents dispersed. Three of four minutes later, when Dana had been tasting other fish for lunch, her telephone rang.

"Scully" - she took phone call.

"It's me. I see her. She is swimming behind our ship. Come here, please."

When Scully came to him, the fish had been explaining Mulder why she was gone.

"She told me that she had had to fulfil ten desires for one day!" - Mulder waved his hand to the fish. " Hi, she is my partner! If you don't want to tell me anything about his desires - maybe you will tell it to her?"

The Gold Fish agreed. Scully was very interested in the fist started to speak with her.

Fox had eaten sunflowers seeds before Scully arrived to him.

"It's terrible!" - She took some seeds. "She told me she had got tired because he had had one desire bigger than the other!

And she told him all the story.

"And?" - Since Scully had arrived to him, Mulder was throwing stones about.

"And we have to come back to her. I promised her."

When they came back, the captain and the big man - owner of the Gold Fish were there. Mulder took the gun and brought the big man under control.

"If you want her to come back, you should promise her that you NEVER ask her to fulfil ANY desires! Do you understand?!"

"But…but it's impossible!" - The big man sit down on the board. "My mommy will be very angry for me!!!" - he started to cry.

Scully shrugged her shoulders.

"If you don't want your fish, we will take her to our home".

"It would be better for her" - added Mulder and jumped to the sea for the fish.

When he caught her, Scully put her to the very, very big drinking-glass, the biggest one on all the ship.

"I'm afraid that I can't take her…" - said Scully to Mulder when they came back to his cabin. "My Quiqueq likes fish very much… Do you want to bring her to your home?

"Oh, no!" Mulder sat down in his armchair. "I think that we should give her to Skinner, Scully…"

The Gold Fish smiled to them:

"You are beautiful! What can I do for you? Do you have any desires?"

"Yes" - Mulder was thinking for a while about Samantha, but later looked for Dana. "We want a hobby-horse" - and started laughed.

"Rocking horse!" - Scully laughed, too.

The fish laughed with them…
